A working draft. It will be reviewed by counsel before we take payment.
What this is
Parallel generates marketing creative from a brand you define, and helps you publish it to accounts you connect. This describes what we collect to do that, why, and how you get it back or have it erased.
What we hold
- Your account.Email and authentication handled by our auth provider; a workspace, the brands in it, and who is on each brand's team.
- Brand cartridges. The voice, palette, offers and claims you enter. We do not infer claims — an approved claim exists only because a person typed it.
- Generated media. The images and video we make for you. The bytes live in object storage; our database holds only the keys that point at them.
- Connected accounts. When you connect a channel, we hold the tokens needed to publish on your behalf, and nothing more.
- Operational records. An append-only audit log of who did what, and request traces, so an incident can be reconstructed and a mistake found.
How it is kept apart
Every account's data is isolated at the database, not by convention: one customer's query cannot return another customer's rows. Invitation links are stored only as a hash, so a stolen backup grants no access. Media URLs are short-lived and say nothing about who owns the file.
Who else touches it
We use a small set of infrastructure providers to run the service. They are listed, with what each one processes, on the subprocessors page.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to erase it. Signed in, you can start either from your data. An erasure is verified before it is actioned, because we will not delete an account on an unverified request. Questions, or a request you cannot make from inside the app, go to privacy@parallelmedia.ai.
Changes
When this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so before the change takes effect. This version is a draft and will be dated on review.
